The calibration engine (in 1.7.1) seems to go on for a while, changing slower and slower, but how do you know when it is finished? And is there a prompt for knowing when the wanding is done, as well? You used to get prompts for these things.

It will just keep cranking as long as you let it. In general, if you get results that are all exceptional, it's probably good for general motion capture. If you want to give it more time to crunch numbers, by all means let it. It will make minute adjustments to further hone in the calibration as long as you let it go. There's a good section on this in the Tracking Tools manual, which should be posting to our website within the week. I'd recommend reading through this for good information on wanding and calibrating.
