raw trajectory export
raw trajectory export
I'd like to be able to export the raw, unlabeled optical segments to a c3d file, as well as the recognized labeled segments. The trajectories as they exist within Arena when they are not assigned are fine. They have negative IDs and they exchange IDs often when they are lost and come back again. Thats not a problem. I do not want to potentially lose these trajectories due to a labeling mistake.
Re: raw trajectory export
Brad:
The negative IDs are for markers that are not attached to any skeleton / rigid body.
I am not sure you would lose any trajectories by having the points labeled, but we can talk about that. I think doing what you want is very possible in a future release, I will bring it up with Yoshi.
We have a new Beta build today, and there has been work done on the C3D export, maybe that has helped some.

Re: raw trajectory export
yea, I tested it out. it did fix the gap issues. (thanks yoshi)
but I believe what I'm talking about is a separate matter. I'll run some tests to illuminate the data loss I'm concerned about and get back to you with example data.
