Arena on Mac

Post by tvining »

In an earlier thread you guys said that you were running Windows and Arena on a Mac Powerbook 2.2 ghz. Are you running Windows using Bootcamp, or Parallels? I ask because it seems that Parallels only uses part of the machine, where, I'm assuming, Bootcamp uses the whole thing. If you're using Parallels, what are your settings?

Thanks--Tim

Hello:

We are using Bootcamp, running full XP on the Powerbook.

Sorry, one more question: I'm setting up Boot Camp on my Mac and it's asking me how much space to devote to the Windows disk partition. How much space will I need to install and run Optitrack/Arena, assuming that I will want to store files that I create as well?

Thanks--Tim

Tim:

I don't think you will need that much space. Arena is very small, less than 10MB, but the capture files can get to be in the 50MB range, so perhaps 10GB just to be on the very safe side?

What version of Windows XP are you running on your Mac? Professional? Home?
