Numerical sequence of cameras

What impact, if any, does the numerical sequence of the cameras in the array have on the quality of the calibration and capture. Is there a preferred order to set the cameras? In a square 8 camera arrangement would the preferred order be 1-hi, 2-low, 3-hi, 4-low, etc.? Or does it not make any difference?

It doesn't really make a difference as far as the calibration/capture is concerned. I it only helps me in making sure that I have them all plugged in properly, and how well the connections are, if done in serials, but Some people like to have then set in a different sync configuration for camera interleaving
