NaturalPoint is pleased to announce a new beta release of the ARENA / ARENA Expression software. Version 1.6.000 beta 1 is now available for download. We invite you to try the software and share your feedback with us.

NatNet notice :
To ensure streaming works for clients using NatNet, either rebuild using the NatNet 2.2 SDK (coming soon) or change the following settings in the streaming panel

Code: Select all

(for NatNet 2.1 or older)
Multicast IP = 224.0.0.1
Multicast port = 1001

the update doesnï¿½t recognize our license! After downgrade on V1.5 everything works smooth again.

Did you check to make sure it is still current? There is a link above to the online license validation system.

Did you try rerunning the activation tool?

Is the OptiTrack hardware detected in the system device manager?

What is the creation date, for the driver installed on the licensed camera/hardware key?

Yes, the license is valid (to March 2010), the hardware was detected and we have done the activiation tool again.

I donï¿½t know the creation date, I will check that when I am back in studio tomorrow. I thought that the driver is part of the update?

Sometimes a PC, will not update the drivers, so you may need to manually update to the newer version.

OK, your expression license is going to be outside of the valid time period for access to the 1.6 software, but your full body software should be still valid.

Please email us the contents / screen shot of the license details dialog (launched from the splash screen or from the help menu), plus the particular error message you are getting.

Aha, now its outside the valid time period! I think we should not discuss this issue in the puplic and on support level, but one thing is for shure, I will not pay any maintance for Arena Expression at the moment, it is not the product it should be and there are some other reasons for my discison. I will explain it to you next week.
