Exporting video data

Post by claudino » Wed Jan 25, 2012 3:09 pm

Hello,

I have set up a group of cameras to track rigid bodies and another to record video from the scene. Now I want to export both sources of data so that I have independent (but registered) tracker and video data flows. Currently, I'm only able to export tracker data. How can I export video as well?

Thanks!

Hello -

Tracking Tools can export individual frames to BMP, but at this moment there is no way to export a scene video from the timeline. That feature is currently only in arena.

And does Arena support the same tracking functionalities as TT? I mean, can I setup custom rigid bodies without setting up a full body skeleton, can I group cameras, etc?

Yes and no. Arena allows tracking of rigid bodies, but in a very simple way. It does not allow you the control over the rigid body that Tracking Tools allows.

Additionally, camera grouping is not available in Arena.
