Size of Exported Bitmap Frames

For the project I am working on, I will likely be exporting bitmap frames at fairly FPS to process at a later time. Given that I will be generating a large number of bitmap images, I am slightly concerned with the size of each bitmap image. I would expect image sizes of around 0.7 MB (832 x 832, 8-bit color depth) but the image I export are closer to 2 MB. Does anyone know why the images are this large?

Bitmaps exported from Tracking Tools are in 24 bit format with no compression, which would explain the larger size you are seeing.
