V120:Duo camera position/orientation definition

Post by mbouchard71 » Wed Nov 07, 2012 7:56 am

We use the V120:Duo camera.

To optimize the coverage area, I need the V120:Duo to be located 3m above the ground, and tilted downward by 45 degrees. How can I define the camera location/orientation in Tracking Tools 2.5?

By default, the ground plane for the V120:Duo is set as coming straight out of the camera view, but you can override this ground plane by setting a new one in Tracking Tools. If you don't have one of our official ground planes, you can make your own in a pinch out of three markers and one of the rigid body mounts that comes with the V120:Duo, like this:

Just be sure to point the long side down your desired positive Z.
