Unique camera identifier?

Post by Nutreon »

We have used the Tracking Tools Plus Package with 6 OptiTrack FLEX:V100R2 cameras (one hub) and we added a further one OptiTrack FLEX:V100R2-FS camera and 5 OptiTrack FLEX:V100R2 cameras (overall two hubs) to the existing camera setup. While starting the 3 marker calibration we receive the error message "All cameras must have a unique identifier. Ensure all cameras are synchronized and have a unique identifier.". My question is, how can we guaranty that all cameras have a unique identifier? The cameras are numbered consecutively per hub. Therefore we get two times number 1, two times number 2 and so on. I cannot find a hint neither in the program nor in the help, the tutorials and the forum.

Hello -

Do you have a sync cable running between the two OptiHubs? There should be an RCA cable running between the OptiSync Out of the first hub and the OptiSync In of the second hub, as can be seen in our quick start guide.
