Broadcast data streaming

Post by tomk »

Hello!

I'm using logger that is not able to run NAT-NET and any other libraries, just saving ethernet stream. In this case broadcast mode is set in Motive and I'm able to capture data.
Unfortunately I can't find stream description - how to interpret saved data.
Support ticked was issued but no response after several days.
I'm using v120Duo devices with latest Motive app.

Tom

Hello Tom,

Thanks for reaching out to the community with your questions.

If you are unable to use the NatNet libraries, then you will have to utilize direct depacketization in order to receive the streamed data. The PacketClient and the PythonClient both demonstrate how to do this, but the PacketClient may be a better example for displaying the per-frame tracking information.

I was able to find your email in our support system, but I do not see you included on any open tickets. I did find a record for one of your colleagues from two weeks ago. We did not receive a reply back, so it is possible our communications are not making it through to your organization.
If you need more information about the data streaming, please try checking your email filters for messages from support@naturalpoint.deskpro.com, and feel free to reach out to us again.

Best,
Steven
