After reading this thread, I am still unclear what was the solution for streaming unlabeled markers with SampleClient. I am only using one marker at the moment, and the position data in the output file is either just 0s via nMarkers or nothing via nOtherMarkers.

Hi ChrisWin00,
I am confused as to why you are unable to receive the unlabeled marker data. If I use the out-of-the-box pre-compiled SampleClient.exe that is included with NatNet, I see all of the unlabeled marker positions being displayed correctly. So the SampleClient should already receive unlabeled markers.
Are you certain you have Labeled Markers, Unlabeled Markers and Solver Replaced Occlusions all enabled in Motive streaming settings?
If you run the pre-compiled exe that is provided, do you see the marker position displayed in the console correctly? Perhaps the issue is only with the writing of the values to file.
