Livelink to Unreal is a big step forward - 4.26 support?

Post by Fabio »

The new Live Link plugin is a huge step forward for whom who is in virtual production.

Just few suggestions:

- The Buffer option should be per tracked element, not the whole Source, as in a multi camera enviroment the delay could differ from one input to another, and not everyone have the Sync 2 device.
- Maybe an option to limit decimal in the comin tracking data could help limit some jitter

Two questions:
When the support for Unreal 4.26 will be available?
When we'll be able to send mocap data with Live Link support and will it have Buffer Option too?

Thank you for this update

Hello Fabio,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the new Unreal Livelink plugin.

I have shared your suggestions with our development team for consideration. In the meantime, you can create two Livelink streaming clients, activating different assets on each. You can then give each client their own Buffer.

We are close to releasing an update for Unreal 4.26. We hope to make something available in the next couple of weeks.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to our Support team directly.

Cheers,
Steven
