OK. So I went back to the previous Nvidia Driver for my RTX 3080 card (Game Driver 516.40) and the TrackIR Software is working again. So it's definitely an issue with the Nvidia driver version 516.59 causing the Track IR software to Suspend and then crash. For now I will stay on the 516.40 driver. When Nvidia releases a new driver above .59 then I will give that a try.

Latest release candidate drivers don't fix the problem so I wouldn't hold my breath for now.

I can confirm

516.40-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql OK for TrackIR

516.59-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql BAD for TrackIR

516.93-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-nsd-dch-whql BAD for TrackIR

it is only the graphic drivers causing the issue

the other stuff as
NVIDIA FrameView SDK 1.2.7521.31103277
NVIDIA GeForce Experience 3.25.1.27
NVIDIA HD-Audiotreiber 1.3.39.3
NVIDIA PhysX-Systemsoftware 9.21.0713
is OK

took me a day to find the source of the problem and the workaround

please NP get this fixed

I rolled my drivers as well, it works. It is an issue with the new drivers.

Can confirm today's newest Nvidia drivers .94 also do NOT fix the problem. Going on 6 weeks now with no fix. If I were a software engineer with Track IR, who have said they can't replicate the issue on their machines, I'd be doing a virtual desktop sharing session in order to look at the problem from a customer who is having the issue and then pull all the required logs to see what is happening. Right now, it appears that NP is just going to wait/hope that Nvidia does something to fix the issue.
