I am trying to install 5.2.2 on windows 7 64 and the installer is freezing during the preparing step. Clicking cancel doesn't seem to stop the installation. I have to open the task manager and end the process. Would you please contact me about it if you have questions or email me. I live in Albany, OR.

Another quick note is that I've tried with and without running as administrator.

I would first disable any anti-virus programs and try again. Also close any other windows that are open, I have seen a few cases where the installer opened a dialog box for installing drivers but the window gets buried under other windows. Let me know if neither of those work.

Hi , I could not get Trackir 5 to work with NGX 737 and EZDOK with the updated ver5.2.2. Reverted back to 5.1.3 and now working again. Regards and thanks. Gabriel

So, ive had the TrackIR 5 Since monday, but it keeps crashing. It launches whit no problems, but it just crashes at random times,it can be from evrything between 1 min to 30min. I have 2x AMD Radeon HD 6970 cards and an i5 2500k prosessor, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. please help me whit this, I really like using the TrackIR 5. I have the latest driver 5.2.2, and also the latest driver for my GFX cards

When it crashes does it leave an entry in Event Viewer?

The newer Geforce drivers seem to be unsable in OpenGL. I've got similar issues when using Blender(OpenGL).

Edit: Log was with GeForce 314.07, going to try the beta 314.14

Absolutely maddening!
Tried every trick under the sun to install the software on Windows xp 8 (all updates) and the device will still not be detected.

Tried a few of the solutions suggested here: Install older version (i installed V5.0 Final.b and then 5.13) Obviously each install was ran after each uninstall, as administrator and with a reboot in between.

This should be so simple.

The latest release DOES NOT install ANY driver Folder!!!.

Not a happy camper.

Please either email an updated (WORKING) driveror let me know how to fix this.

I've just bought a AMD 7970 and now each time I launch the TrackIR v5 software it crashes.
