Axis bleeding

Post by tmahring »

Hi
I have a problem with my TrackIR 5:
When I turn my head (yaw) it also results in movement on the X Y and Z axis. When I look left my head goes up and to the front left, when I look right it goes back right and down.
The movement is so strong that it basically renders X Y and Z useless, I had to deactivate them to be able to use my trackir properly.
I tried adjusting the camera position on my monitor as good as I can but it didn't make much difference. I use a trackclip pro.
Is there any way I can compensate / calibrate for this ?

After playing around some more I found out that the problem only happens when I have my trackclip pro on the right side of my headset. The problem is that my headset has its mic on the left side so I would really like to use the trackclip on the right side. Is there a way I can set this in the software ?

Unfortunately the TrackClip Pro only works on the left side, but it should be adjustable enough that it won't interfere with the mic on a headset.
