Trackir is throttling down my gtx 960
Trackir is throttling down my gtx 960
Hi all, and sorry for my poor english.
My Gigabyte gtx 960 turns into P2 state while running trackir software (Ver 5.3), throttling down my memory clock from 3505 to 3005 mhz, all at default clocks.
Using the Gigabyte OC guru would not let me change the frequency at all.
Tackir running
No Trackir
This is annoying, because i want all the performance that can deliver my gfx card.
Anyone is experiencing this?, i don't know how to fix this.
Thanks

Ares121,
Thank you for the images and description. We are looking into why this may be happening. Hopefully we will have an answer soon.

Same thing happening to me now. I wrote in the other thread on this, that it was fine for me, and it was. Changed when i updated to the Windows 10 update i think.
Tried with same NVidia drivers as before, but it downclocks memory still...
Runs in state P2 instead of P0.

I am seeing the same thing as well, with the 5.3.0 software running, my GTX 970 memory clock downclocks to 3000 mhz. Without the software running it is at 3504 MHz as normal.

Hello,
We are working on a fix, but it looks like this issue isn't just on 5.3. Used some older versions of our software to test it out and it looks like this issue has been around on previous versions as well. Hopefully we'll have an update out to you soon.

Sounds good looking forward to seeing this fixed.
Re: Trackir is throttling down my gtx 960
Just wanted to chime in as well.
Definitely having this issue on my EVGA GeForce 980Ti.
TrackIR Not Running.
As soon as I turn on TrackIR...
Just wanted to check and see about a possible fix and just add another "me too" to the list!
Thanks guys!

Hi,
Is there a date where we can expect a fix? I'm having the same problem with my GTX 980's (SLI).
Thank you.
