Unable to recenter in-game TrackIR 5.3

Hello all,

So, I upgraded/updated to TrackIR 5.3 the other day, and ever since I updated, I have been unable to recenter my tracking (I have the hotkey set to F12) while I am in-game. Specifically, in ArmA 3. I had no issues recentering at any time with TrackIR version 5.2. I have restarted my computer several times since the update and restarted TrackIR several times since. Anyone have any ideas why I am suddenly unable to recenter in game? Am I forgetting about a particular setting or something?

Do you by chance run ArmA as an administrator? Have you tried running TrackIR as an administrator to see if it resolves the issue. Does it do the same thing if you change the hotkeys to something else?

I have not tried running the game as an administrator. I will try that next.

No, changing the recenter hotkey does not make a difference.

Having exactly the same problem with Flight Simulator X since 5.3 and 5.4. Hotkeys are not working in-app. No problem until 5.2. Config not changed. Checked that keys are not used by game. Both FS X and TrackIR running as admin.

I have been running arma as administrator and it has made no difference. I still must tab out to trackIR software and recenter it from there, then tab back into the game.

I am looking into this issue, but cannot reproduce it in house. Just for clarification, both the games and TrackIR are being ran as an administrator? If you are using steam, are you starting steam as an administrator first?

I am running all related programs as administrator. However, I am still unable to re-center while in-game. The only thing I can think that could possibly be interfering is any mods I am running on Arma 3. And all of the mods running are being run as administrator when possible.

Hi, same issue here,

To center TIR, I have to assign a controller button (Pro Flight Yoke & Warthog)
The issue is only with keyboard key.
DirectX issue?

I too am having this issue, version 5.3 doesn't work unless I run Track IR as Admin. (I think that was a known issue)

I've tried 5.4, same issues, I need to run it as Admin.

Windows 10 64bit (I am Admin and tried as Guest)
Nvidia GTX 550Ti
AMD FX 6100

Not blocked by Anti Virus or firewall.

Games I've tried and have this issue;
Arma 3
Arma 2
Arma 2 OA
IL2 Sturmovik Stalingrad
IL2 Sturmovik 1946

So it works but I need to run it as Admin (right clicking Icon method)
