TrackIR Not Remembering Precision Setting

I downloaded TrackIR ver 5.4.2 and installed it as ADMINISTRATOR on a Win10 System. I have also tried deleting the XML Settings file as suggested elsewhere in this forum.
However, TRACKIR does not remember the Precision setting even though I've read here Precision is actually considered to be the default setting. Ideas?

Where is the Precision on/off setting saved, and what is the parameter called? I don't see anything obvious in the settings.xml file.

I'm dissecting the Settings file to figure out where the setting is stored and also why it isn't being kept.

If the precision setting is in the Settings file it is well "hidden" and not obvious at all.
Might be better use of your time just to ask the software gurus who wrote the code.

Al,

Looking into this and working with the dev, it doesn't seem that there is a way to save it at this time. I've added the idea to our list of feature requests and when the time comes we will revisit this process. For right now, there isn't anything available aside from setting it each time you load up.

That agrees with what I could discern by looking at the settings.xml file. I do hope saving the Precision setting gets implemented in a future release -- would be a nice convenience and should not be any more difficult than saving some of the other settings.
