Can't move TIR4 profiles over to 5

Recently installed 5 so my TIR would work with Project Cars 2.

It says in the PDF manual that pasting the old TIR 4 profiles into the appropriate folder in the 5 install will allow those profiles to work in the 5 install.

So far it has not.

No amount of restarting the program or the computer will make them show up in the Profiles drop down window in 5.

Any idea how this is really supposed to work? I'd really only like to have one install of the software, but if I can't transfer my old profiles to the new install I'll just run 4 for those profiles.

I am running Windows 10 64bit.

BlitzPig_EL,

What location did you place the new profiles in? Since we updated to 5.3 the profiles are now are stored in the directory "%AppData%\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles". If you placed them in the old location on the C: they will not work.
