I wanted to have information about the dots.If I put myself in front of my Trackir with my glasses my tracker works so I ask myself a question: What are the dots made of? if I buy simple reflective pellets will it work ? I live in France and where to find dots ?

Thank you for reaching out to us in the forums. The strips on the Track IR Tracking object are made with 3M 7610 reflective material (tape).

If you can find it locally, you could save some money on shipping. You want to make sure it is the silver tape. You can view the one from our website for reference.

Great question. Yes, you can use this tape to replace the tape on the Track IR Tracking Object that attaches to a hat. You can also use this tape to create Spherical markers, or purchase them from our website.

Thanks for the info, I was worried to death about the dots getting worn out and losing their shine on my set... Plus, I have family in France and will be able to buy stuff from there if I can't find the right parts where I live now.
