Low frames for camera

Just this week I started getting low frames for the camera. I seems like maybe a Windows update may have caused the issue. I've tried removal and reinstall (complete). I've tried different USB ports also. It is very jittery. Anyone have an idea what may be going on?

Thanks

Hello,

Can you share some screen shots of the camera view please? I want to rule out that sensor being bad.

Hello,

Are you using the latest version of TrackIR?
Are you seeing this jittering behavior in-game also?

In the video, I noticed that the framerate jumps up as you are moving the mouse cursor over the viewport.
Track IR software doesn't necessarily clamp its frame update rate at 60-fps, and the software is not representing how fast the Track IR is processing data. The reason why the frame rate jumps up when the mouse is moving over it, is probably because we are forcing the frame rate to give you proper mouse update rate when adjusting the view. But when there is no mouse data, there isn't a need to draw that many frames. Lowering the frame rate when not in use also saves the GPU from having to work as hard. I think this might be what you are seeing. Could you please check whether if the tracking rate is low when using it in the game?

Regards,

Hi,

Version is 5.4.2.27545
In game is the same slow frame (unplayable)

The frames are still unbearable even with the mouse over the screen. At first I thought it was an update to Windows but I've ruled that out by trying on another computer. It appears to be be a bad sensor as no matter the PC, the issue remains.

I actually did notice better frames when moving the mouse over. I think you are on to something. Disregard my last about it being a bad sensor.

Another observation. If I click in the "Motion Adjustment" window and actively move the mouse around, the frames for that window are normal. Same with the 3D view. So it is not the sensor but maybe the application isn't getting the priority it needs?

Thanks

I have this issue too, I haven't changed any settings since I installed Track IR, but lately, when I launch the game it starts out just fine but at some point it slows down considerably. I move my head and nothing happens for a couple seconds, then it will move.

I really need some help with this. As it stands, I can't use my TrackIR5 because of the low frames. As I've stated, if I click in the camera view and actively move the mouse, my frame rate is fine. Once I move the mouse out of the 3d view, the frames drop.

Thanks
