Hello Jon,
I'm new I bought my first Track IR and I'm having the same exact issue but mines was bought two weeks and I got it in yesterday.
I've tried very much with setting it up and even with it being programmed and centered. I still get that Jerky and bouncing away when I move my head around.

Hi YankeeDoodle2992,
If you go to "Camera View" inside the TrackIR software. Do you see any red dots or blobs besides the 3 green blobs which represent your TrackClip? If so, you have light interference from either direct sunlight or reflected sunlight in your camera's view. You will need to cover up any windows that are allowing light in. Or you might have reflective objects in your camera's view. Feel free to post a screenshot of your Camera View if you are still having issues.
