:)) some facts:

3 times the resolution of TrackIR 4
Larger field of view
New image processing design for more accurate, smoother tracking
Improved sunlight filtering
Detachable base to improve durability
Completely new software with more options, and a much more user friendly interface (software will work with TrackIR 3 with Vector, TrackIR 4, and TrackIR 5)

brds
Oh no! A leak! :)

This sounds pretty accurate to me though. TrackIR 5 will actually have 3X the raw sensor resolution, but with our Grayscale Precision image processing, it will actually have a 10X increase in effective resolution!

I'm a little bit saddened by this news, I spent a year or so deliberating and finally got Track IR4 last week and if I had waited 2 weeks I could have had new sweet technology instead, and the wider field of view is what would help most! Here's to hoping it takes years to get to market and is horribly overpriced. I talked to Seth on the phone when I first got it and he did a bang up job helping me. :)

*cheers*
