Profile import to new software

Is there an option to import version 4.x profiles into 5.x? I just ordered the TIR5 hardware and was concerned.

You can manually import your 4.x profiles to 5.x by copying the .xml files in
...\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles\
and putting them in
...\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles\
I did this and haven't had any problems.

The TrackIR 5.x software does not support importing profiles from the 4.x software right now. If you copy the profiles over they will show in the profile list, but the acceleration curves will be flattened out and inaccurate.
For the time being we recommend using or customizing the default profiles supplied in the 5.x software.
We will look into importing profiles from the 4.x software.
