Using the new Beta 2 Software with the TrackIR5 I noticed that when selecting the Precision mode it makes it track very very slow. The solution to fix it is to use the Smooth Slider then bring it back to the original setting.

It may be that I don't quite understand what Precision mode is supposed to do. I don't notice much difference.

We're looking at reworking exactly how precision mode works in the future, but for the time being, it sounds like it is working as intended. Precision mode is supposed to be toggled on when you need especially steady tracking--like when focusing on a switch in a cockpit or honing in on a target. Basically, it slows the tracking way down, so you can address a situation without worrying about unintended head movement messing it up. When you're finished with that action, you can toggle the mode back off and continue with normal tracking.
