TrackIR 5 magnetic base missing?

My trackir 4 died after a couple of months of lite use so i've now gone and bought a trackir 5, so far so good except for attaching the camera part to the base.
I need to know is there supposed to be a magnet inside the base for the top camera part to sit on? because mine hasnt got one, and it is almost impossible to get it to stay ontop the base.
Im thinking about glueing them together if I cant find a small magnet to fit into the base.
