Driver Not Installing On Windows 7 64-bit (fix)

[color:#FF0000]I just got my TrackIR 5 kit today. I was super pumped and was a bit disappointed when the Version 5 software would not install the USB driver properly. I tried downloading the version 4 software. It would not work either.

The installation would get to where it asks you if you want to install the unrecognized drivers anyway and I would say yes. I got asked 3 more times and said yes to all of them. Still would not work.[/color]

[color:#009900]Finally, I did a system restore to before I had started trying to install any of the software.

Then, I rebooted the machine. Hit F8 during boot so I could tell Windows to start with the ability to load unsigned drivers (same menu you use to get to Safe Mode). This seems to have solved my problem. When booted in this mode, the software installation went off without a hitch.[/color]

All is well now and this product is freaking amazing!

You should have to boot into test mode, as the latest drivers have signed drivers. Try manually updating with the latest version.
