and actually I can't think of a reason why. I get a random BSOD with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Ok, seems like hardware. Only thing that has changed is the addition of the IR5. So I unplug from the USB port and I don't crash anymore. Plug it back in and I will get a random crash. Thing is I am not even using the IR5 when a crash takes place, and when I do use it it works. I don't want to blame the IR5, but maybe Windows received an update that could be causing this problem.
Weird?! Any ideas would be appreciated.
Been having system crashes lately ...

USB port on the MB?
Tried disabling the power saving feature on the USB port?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

Yes on the mobo. I tried different ports too.
I will try your suggestion. Thanks.

It appears that one of my system memory sticks is dying. So now I am temporarily using some other memory sticks.
Oh well!
Time to RMA those sticks back.
