ARMA2 + TrackIR5 + 5.0beta05 Drivers = HELP???

I installed the TrackIR fine, I sees me fine running the software (TrackIR 5 #112423), and tracks my head great.

When I run ARMA2 however, it does not respond to movements. When I go to CONTROL in ArmA, I see it bound to keys (by default) and I see it listed in "devices", but again, no response "in game".

HELP!

My Details:
TrackIR 5
Vista Ultimate, SP1 32-Bit
ARMA II (DVD, not Digital Download)

Also, I'm going to Windows 7 next week, is the TrackIR Support fine in Win7?

I'm seeing the same problem.

Initially i had the non beta software installed ver4 something.

and it was working, i upgraded to the beta 5 ver and it stopped.

I tried multiple uninstalls, reboots, and registry cleans, even deleting oem25, 26 inf files.

I could never get it to work in game again.

Im now reinstalling my whole O/S and arma to try it fresh with version4.

will keep you updated.

Did you delete your NaturalPoint folder when you installed the ver5 software?

DaRooster I am not having any trouble with either TrackIR or ARMA2 under Windows 7.

It seems that are several posts started that we all have the same problem. I too have installed version 5 beta, the track clip is tracking, but then the game will not interface with the trackir software. I am getting quite upset with this. Like Blood I have tried a multitude of different things. The only difference is his worked with version 4 where mine did not. And whats with the profiles do you need them? Or can you just use the Default and have it respond. I am assuming you can use just the default if you want?

I did get it working.

I reinstalled windows XP 64Bit (Same O/S)

Reinstalled ArmaII

Installed Version 4.1 Build37 (Latest NON BETA Drivers)

Everything is working, I think something is wrong with BETA version5.

8 hours later I can enjoy the trackir.

You should not have to reinstall your windows to get a simple piece of software working.

I installed the lastest software beta B final or something like that and the software came up and worked meaning it detected my proclip but when I went into my flight games NONE of them worked with TrackiR. I have just finished reinstalling the old TrackiR software 5.0 beta and everything works now??

Hi guys, we've on this. We're digging and hope to have a fix out for the newest beta soon. In the meantime, Beta 04 should be working fine.

Of course, I just got my new TrackIR 5 today, downloaded the "LATEST DRIVERS" as directed, and it doesn't work in Arma2.

FS X is fine. But no Arma2.

----

Well, I rolled back my drivers and still a no go... then I thought I'd look under the Arma2 option menu for controllers (clicked a neuron that something I had glanced over in the process said that the options menu showed what TrackIR did). There it was: TrackIR "disabled". Arg. Click "ENABLE" and now working in the game.

I will now try to go back to the newest driver, and see if it works with TrackIR "enabled" in Arma2.

Whew... that was close. Hopefully, that will save some other TrackIR "n00b" like me the same frustration!
