Users that are having problems connecting to games with the recent Beta 05 version of the 5.0 software can roll back to Beta 04, which should be working fine:

We're investigating the problem with Beta 05 and will have a fix out as soon as we can.

had same prob, installed v4 final b it ask me to uninstall prev. version so did then installed final v4 then d/load v5 beta it ask to uninstall previous so did it then installed v5 beta all good, just need some profiles , can I use v4 profiles in v5?

TrackIR 4 profiles can be imported into the 5.0 software. They will not be exactly the same, as profiles are now constructed a bit differently, but they will be ported quite accurately. After they are saved in 5.0, they will be converted to 5.0 format and overwritten in the Profiles folder.

Thank you Seth, also just a little heads up, I have it box tick to start up with windows minimized in tray, yes it starts automatic but won't work. I have to close it and then restart so it works in game.

Connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?

Just got TrackIR 5. Could not get it to connect to FSX with v5.0 Final. However, when I tried v5.0 beta 4 it connected and worked perfectly. I don't think v5.0 Final is going to be final....

I too cannot get ver. 5 final to detect games. Specifically DCS Black Shark and FSX with Acceleration pack (haven't tried anything else yet).
Uninstalled ver 5 final and reinstalled 5.04 beta - all works again.

System:
TrackIR 5 with Pro tracker, directly connected to USB port on MB.
Vista Pro x64 with latest service pack
6GB memory
All drivers on MB and video card recently updated to latest drivers

Willing to answer/try anything needed to help debug.

Same here. Game is "European Truck Simulator" (ETS). Reverting to 5.05 beta make it work, again.

Identical setup than DeadlyInsight, except for the memory size.
