If the TrackIR software is running in the background it will crash the game. As soon as I close it the game runs rock solid.

This is under Vista x64 with the latest v5.0 drivers.

I think this might be happening with ArmA II 1.3 using beta 5b. Had several crashes earlier today which i thought was videorelated but after turning trackir off no problems.

It looks like it is the Nvidia 3d scope drivers crashing ArmA 2 and not the TrackIR software. Nvidia automatically install these drivers even if you don't have the 3d glasses. Anyways, i removed the 3d scope drivers and it seems to run just fine now.

I'm using a XFX GTX280 card with 190.38 WHQL drivers.

That doesn't fix the Battlefield 2 problem unfortunately. TrackIR 5.0 software crashes the game 100% every time.

I had and still have same problem with BF2 and Vista x64: http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubb ... #Post37393

I lost hope already... Now I don't using TrackIR in BF2 at all. Software version 4 and TracIR5 with TrackClip Pro works bad. It doesn't have that great precise of v.5.
Its not NVidia problem for sure. I using ATI. And TrackIR 5 software works good with DCS Black Shark KA-50 for example.

Latest video card drivers?

Latest Motherboard bios installed?

Latest monitor drivers installed, not generic?

Does it work with the TrackIR 4 software?
