ATI Catalist 10.4 drivers not allowing trackir to run.

Just instaled the new cat's 10.4 and my Track Ir 5.exe would not run.I reinstaled the TrackIR 5 programe,no-go.Uninstalled the new cat's without reinstaling graphic driver...trackir launched no problem.re-installed the cat again,no-go.Uninstalled the cat 10.4,reinstalled the cat 10.3,launched trackIr just fine.

Same problem for me, but only with windows XP. With windows 7 the software runs without problem even with the 10.4 installed (well I still have stutters, that hasn't been resolved, but that's not new).

I don't remember seeing anything related to OpenGL in the release notes, but anyone can check for themselves on Ati's website.

I have XP32, ATI 4890 and the same happened for me. 10.4 was a no-go (TrackIR wouldn't start) so I rolled back to 10.3. I also informed ATI and posted on their forum.

Problem persists with the 10.5 driver. Vincent, can you check if ATi is aware of this problem?

Do you have any OpenGL settings, enabled within the catalyst software?

The only option in CCC concerning openGL is triple buffering which I don't use as it's causing input lag. The answer is no...

Tried the 10.6 betas but unfortunately no go. Something is fubar in the latest drivers for XP...

Vincent, have you been in contact with Ati regarding the non working trackIR for XP?

It's been broken since the 10.4 drivers. Whats the point of purchasing a tracking device if it's not compatible with gfx drivers?
