ATI Catalist 10.4 drivers not allowing trackir to run

Same problem since 10.4. I was able to manually replace the OGL driver with the one from 10.3 but that is no longer working with 10.6.

Hi I just purchased track ir5 have you recieved any help on fixing the problems...mine will not work and I have not seen any answers from anybody on this forumn on fixing the problem. alot of posts are from over a year ago.

No. My only answer has been to not use my TrackIR. I do not want to revert to slower ATI drivers. To bad i'm not renting the product, i'd recoup some money. Support us Natural point, your product has been broken on ATI machines since April and we have only a few responses from you

I don't think Natural Point is to be blamed, really. Ati seems to be the bad guys in this matter. Hopefully NP has been in contact with the red team to get us back on track(IR)

Can you get the TrackIR spoftware to run, using the 4.1.037 version of the IR software?

Yes it works, just tested it now. Thank you. Is there much of a difference besides GUI prettiness between this version and the version 5, product Performance wise? I'm guessing the Version 5 uses opengl for its GUI.

Yes the IR5 software is OpenGL based, and the IR4, is directX
