Thanks for making 64 bit TrackIR software a top priority!
I also throw my hat in the ring as a volunteer beta tester for TIR64.

Feedback or updates on development would be appreciated as well.
It's likely that the only development status updates we'll be offering will be announcements of beta versions. Beyond that, we don't typically detail the development process publicly. We'll definitely post when we have a beta available for public testing.

Hi all.

Glad to see a thread on this! I just installed A-10C last night (Win 7 64 bit) and I was wondering why my trusty TrackIR 4 wasn't working. I even looked for the TrackIR Input and Config Files like we used to do in LOMAC, but no joy.

Anyhoo, thank you Natural Point for listening to the community and working on this.

Remember, you can get your TrackIR to work if you installed the optional 32bit client.
Copy that. I'll be doing that tonight, but I was hoping that there was a small work around.. No biggy.. 32 bit A-10C is better than no A-10C at all.

I hope you have a high end rig as when I tried to run in 32 bit mode it was less than smooth.

There's no performance difference between 32bit DCS and 64bit DCS. This whole thread is much ado about nothing.

Incorrect.

There should be and will be.

But the code we have in Beta is not yet optimized.

Well there isn't and it's not going to change from the beta.
Hi all,

I just spoke with one of our lead developers, and he confirmed to me that TrackIR development will be starting up very soon. 64-bit application interoperability will be the first item on the list.

Thanks for your patience. We'll hopefully have something out to you guys to play with pretty soon.

i'm guessing that this new 64-bit application won't have trackir3 pro support?

What are you basing that on?

64 bit will allow more RAM addressing and reduce stutters. That's what happens.

The DCS A10C is still in beta.

I can never guarantee things that we haven't finished developing, because software development is an unpredictable animal, but the current plan is to also include TrackIR 3 support.
