Unable to Change Keyboard Mappings

Post by ryanbatc »

Built a new PC, installed the very latest Track IR software. (I use TIR 5 with track clip pro with FSX).

Under my old software I rearranged the keys so F8 was center, F7 was pause. But under this new software it will not let me change the keys from default. It says key already in use or something to that effect. I really want to change the keys.... how can I do this?

Ok so I reinstalled Win7 again - can someone refresh my memory on how to delete keyboard assignments and make new ones?

The best way to do this would be to copy the default profile to a new one, and edit that profile, and assign them by selecting the action from the hotkeys dropdown in advanced settings, then clicking the key button to the right and pressing the new desired key or key combination. Keep in mind, if you want to switch functions mapped to a key, you will first have to unmap the target key by changing that function to something else.
