Profile Hotkey

Post by ontheair »

Hello,

from the user manual :

"Hotkey settings are stored on a per-profile basis"

it clearly means I can use the same, or a different, key assignments for all the listed profiles to perform the corresponding action pause/center/precision. Correct ?

the action dropdown menu now includes a new item "profile". My question is : to select the profile of my choice can I use the same key assignment (sounds strange to me) or do I need to set a different key assignment for each profile ?

Regards

You can use the same hotkeys for all profiles, or different ones if you require. The purpose is to allow users to select different hotkey sets with their profile so that they can use games that have different available keyboard bindings.

Hi there, I'm trying to clarify just what the "profile" option in the "Hotkey" drop down list is exactly? as there isn't really an entry in the manual for it specifically. I'm hoping it is so that I can press the hotkey in-game to switch TIR profiles on the fly?

Exactly. You can bind a hotkey to the profile and switch with that key assignment.
