Phoenix Flight Simulator 4 - Does it Work with Track IR

Hello: I have Track IR 4 Pro. Does that work with Phoenix Flight Simulator Pro? Mine doesn't connect for some reason.

It appears to work with Phoenix 3, but beyond that I'm not entirely sure. I would assume that yes, it would, however it might be a good idea to ask the developer if that has changed in any further revisions.

Well in Phoenix 4 they have a button for Track IR. It glows when you have TrackIR running. When you select the glowing button,though, the simulator doesn't see the Track IR. Any ideas? It's like both Track IR and the sim are running but they don't actually interact

Try running both by right clicking on their icons and selecting "run as administrator"

Mike: I right clicked each icon and selected "run as administrator" and everything happened as previously described. No improvement or change. It still looks like the Track IR isn't talking to the simulator.

I should mention that this computer is an AMD Phenom 64 Bit operating system. Running Windows 7. Don't know whether that helps.

Also should mention that the "Game Enabled" light in Track IR is black in color and if you click on it the legend reads, "streaming." Whatever that means.

Embarrassed to tell you how much time I have put in this!

How about the right green light on the TrackIR 5 (or lower blue light on TrackIR 4), is that one on?

Mike. Will check tonight. You're talking about the camera itself, right?

Mike: I checked tonight. It is Track IR4 and the yellow light at the top is the only light that is on. The bottom light is not on. Does that help?

Hmm... That means the game client isn't detecting TrackIR presence. I'd double check that they are all run as admin, and maybe check with the developer to verify that it's in Phoenix 4. The last information I have only goes up to Phoenix 3, so it's possible that it's got an issue or requires something else.
