Trackir not saving profiles

Share and exchange custom profiles for the TrackIR software.

Everything was working fine. Now when I save a profile nothing happens. If I make changes and switch to another profile I am asked if I want to save. I click yes, and nothing is saved.

I have the profiles folder open, and after refreshing, no file.

I stop the program and start it back up, and the 'saved' profile no longer exists.

Any help would be appreciated.

thedemon44,

That is an interesting issue. My first suggestion would be to go to the install folder for your TrackIR software and delete the Settings.xml file and restart the TrackIR. This will change your speed and smoothing settings back to default, but it may resolve the issue.

Are you running the TrackIR software as an administrator?

I got it working again, doing the most simple part of tech support you can. Restart the computer.

Glad to hear that it is up and running. There is a reason that restarting the computer is still one of the first steps in troubleshooting.
