Issue Report: Cannot use colon character in profile name.

Urgency: Very Low. Workaround available.

  • I am running TrackIR version
  • My host is Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.
  • I am running TrackIR in Administrator mode.

Steps to reproduce:
  • Open TrackIR.
  • Create a new Profile named 'Elite: Dangerous'.
  • Save the profile.
  • Close TrackIR.
  • Open TrackIR.
  • Try to find the profile named 'Elite: Dangerous' in the list.

Expectation #1:
If colon characters are permitted, I expect the saved profile to load after I close then re-open TrackIR.

Expectation #2:
If colon characters are not permitted, I expect the user interface to reject them or warn me if I am trying to use one.

Observed Behavior:
The user interface accepts colon characters as input and does not warn me about colon characters. The user interface does not load the saved profile after closing then re-opening TrackIR.

Do not use colon characters. I have worked around this issue by saving the profile name as 'Elite Dangerous'.
