I don't know if there's a specific profile for that plane, however I would recommend making the following edit:

Go to advanced options, select pitch. Uncheck mirror, then raise the line on the left half of the graph about 1.5x to 2x. This should greatly increase your range of motion when looking down.
If you line on the left to increase your range looking down, then would you use thwe line on the right to increase the range for looking up? I can't get my range looking up far enough to get at irs.
My head is all the way up and I looking through the bottom of my galsses to see the screen.
Correct, the right side of your Pitch graph adjusts how much your "looking up" motion is scaled. To increase this more than "looking down," uncheck the "Mirror" option and increase the right side of the pitch curve until the motion is sufficiently scaled.

When comparing to any DCS games, keep in mind that the DCS developers scale the incoming head tracking data another 20% or so in-game from what TrackIR streams out. So it's likely that profiles tuned to a DCS title might not work as well with other titles.
Could you expand on this a little? What do you mean the DCS games scale the head tracking data? I have been tweaking my DCS profile for a year now, I have such a tough time trying to get it to feel right. I have the TrackIR 5 with the Trackclip Pro. Movements feel weird in the game and the view feels like it sticks even if there are no deadzones.

On the other hand, I recently discovered Falcon BMS and TrackIR works beautifully in it. Head movements feel as they should. It feels like an extension of my body when flying falcon.

What is the difference between the two? How should I set up my profile to get the most natural head movements in DCS A-10? If DCS scales, how do I scale it back to "normal"? Falcon BMS feels "normal".

In all DCS games (as far as I'm aware), the incoming data from TrackIR is scaled up or multiplied in the game engine by about 20%. So the amount of head movement that would turn your head 50 in Falcon would actually turn your head 60 in a DCS title.

To account for this, you can make a specific DCS profile in the TrackIR software with the curves "lowered" on the Y axis by about 20%. Or, you could use the same profile as you use for Falcon, but every time you know you're going to run a DCS title, adjust TrackIR's "speed" slider down by about 20% (e.g. to 0.8 if you typically have the speed set to 1).

I dont think that an acceptable response when all yiou hear is how people get sick and dont really like it. i use this with rise of flight , a profile given to me by a user and works great with that game , with FSx , soory to say it does not work, and i do not agree with your answer, your product just didnt make it with this game .

I'd say that people complaining about getting motion sickness is by far the more rare issue.

What issues are you experiencing with profiles, exactly? I'd be happy to offer assistance to help get you going, but in order to do that, I need more information. The more detailed, the better.

Great profile! Thanks Seth it helped me today with setting up TrackIR 5 with FSX. Its great stuff and makes FSX lots of fun. Now I just need a motion chair and will have a realistic cockpit :)

Hi Jeff, I am using windows7 64bit and I downloaded the latest 5.2 version of the software. All I need to do now is find out how to stop it from asking me if I want it to be able to add changes to my computer every time I launch it.

Because of the way TrackIR interacts with some games it has to run with administrator privileges, and will ask at run time every time. It is possible to disable UAC but is not recommended due to security concerns.

Just wanted to say that after getting my TrackIR5 as a Christmas present I have spent the last 5 weeks trying to get a decent profile for both Rise Of Flight and ArmA2. Without much success (Bit of a noob with this high tech stuff).
I find this site yesterday and Voila! Seth's "FPS" and "Flight" profiles suit me just fine.

Many Thanks and Hi

Martin

P.S Great product don't know how I lived without one for so long.
