It is mainly composed of 4 V120 Slim cameras (now called Slim 3U) and it makes use of active markers (Infrared Led).
I have used the system in 5x5 meters room size with a camera positioned at each corner of the room. It works perfectly and track different rigid body with millimetric precision.
I used this system for a virtual reality project, tracking a headset and a wand, therefore I think this is its most appropriate application.
