I can not succeed to open cameras using the Camera SDK sample program (FrameSynchronization), with three cameras.
When opening cameras, the LED display rotate very slowly, or LED display stop.
I'm using Windows7 64bit USB3.0 PC. And the sample program was compiled for 32bit version.
When using one camera, the camera is opened successfully.
I'm use these environment.
Window7 Home Premium SP1 64bit
Core i7-3610QM 2.30GHz
4GB RAM
USB3.0
Intel 7 Series / C216 Chipset
PC was
TOSHIBA dynabook Satellite T572/W3TF
and CameraSDK 1.0.0 Final
1. Can I use the Windows7 64bit USB3.0 compiled for 32bit PC?
2. If the program work Correctly, what can I do?
Thanks.

The USB 3 ports are probably what is giving you trouble. Theoretically your USB chipset should mimic USB 2 when a USB2 device is plugged in, but I have yet to see that actually work as described.

Re: Can I use USB3.0 and 64bit PC?
Thanks.
I tried to move cameras on other PCs, which have USB3.0 ports. Cameras can't move on USB3.0 Ports.
Would you tell me have you ever check on USB3.0 Port? If so, would you tell me what type PC did you use?
And would you tell me the way to move cameras?
I tried those PC.
DELL Vostro 3560 Core i5 32bit
Epson Endeavor NJ5700E Core i5 32bit
It is need to move USB 3.0, because many PC have USB3.0 port only.

Are your cameras plugged directly into the PC or into an OptiHub?

I'm not using OptiHub.
And I connect through D-Link Hub.
I conect cameras by using wired sync.
These PCs have "Intel(R) USB3.0 eXtensible host controler".

Have you updated the C216 chipset to the latest drivers? If not, please try to update the drivers and let us know the results for further troubleshooting.

Hi CatMail,
I believe I have been corresponding with your distributor about the USB 3 issue you are having. I believe the quickest fix for you is going to be to get a USB 2 PCI card for your computer until we can find a solution for the USB 3 issues you are having. I would hate for you to not be able to use your system right now, so this seems like the best work-around until we can find out the issue with certain chipsets.
Thank you for your understanding.
