Custom tracking object

Hi,
Due to the geometry of the track clip pro, we are looking at creating a custom object tracking set. I'm curious as to whether the Camera SDK is capable of resolving the position and attitude data of the custom object.
I have taken a look at the samples, and a first glance the physical arrangement of the tracking object is defined by how cVectorProcessingSettings is configured. In my dev environment, this is done using the Arrangement member of the cVectorProcessingSettings class.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
