Extracting 2D Object data from tak files

Post by lazytrash »

Since post-processing of take files allow changes in filter and other parameters and the subsequent re-generation of tracking data, I assume the 2D object (per camera) is stored in the tak file? If so, is there anyway to extract them from the file?

I understand that it is possible to do this live via Camera SDK, but for my use case, I would prefer to batch them post-capture if possible.

Hi lazytrash,

The 2D camera information cannot be accessed or extracted from a recorded Take. The only possibility is exporting reference video for cameras that were in MJPEG mode, and this is likely not what you are trying to get.

If you have any other questions on this feel free to reach out to our Support team directly.

Cheers,
Steven
