Does Motive package license work with Tracking Tools?

Hi,
I was wondering if I purchase a new Motive: Tracker package, will the license work with the latest version (2.5?) of Tracking Tools?

The reason is that we provide your camera tracking packages with our education and research lab solutions, and we have our own control software that integrates with Tracking Tools, but not yet with Motive.

Thanks,

Cameron

Oh, I just downloaded the Motive beta and I see that the libraries are still NPTrackingTools.lib/.dll/.h. Is this essentially the same Tracking Tools libraries from TT 2.5? Is this going to change in the future (NPMotive.lib/.dll/.h)?

The names of the API files will remain the same. The function calls in the API are still the same. So changing the names would create additional work for those already using the API.

Hi,

Here are complementary questions about the compatibility between TrackingTool 2.5.0 and Motive.

Q1) Does the camera SDK we used with TrackingTool 2.5.0 still work with Motive ?

Q2) With TrackingTool, we create a .ttp file which contains the rigid body definition and the calibration of the cameras.
We then load this .ttp file in our own application.
Does Motive use the same concept which is to generate a .ttp file ?

Q3) With the TrackingTool there is 2 Point Cloud engine, version 1 and version 2. Does Motive offers those 2 versions ?

thank you,
