Setting Pivot Point Translation for Rigid Bodies

Hi

I try to set the pivot point of a rigid body and fail:

1. I create a rigid body
2. when translating the pivot for more than a few mm the markers start to get jittery.
3. next when I move the body, the pivot suddenly jumps to the opposite side of the markers.

what am I doing wrong?
