z-axis offset when turning rigid body 180 deg

Post by maybites »

Hi

I notice a z-axis offset when I turn a rigid body 180 deg (y-axis). the following imgs illustrate it:

1. markerbody fresh calibrated and pivot point set to 0 - 0 - 0.

2. markerbody turned 180 deg at !!physical!! pivot point but motive shows now other value (z = 1.8)

in this case its 2mm, which doesnt sound like a lot but for my purpose its a gamechanger. (I have more images but the forum doesnt allow me to upload more than three - or zip files.)

I have another case where the offset is almost 4 mm, and this is unacceptable. any idea why this happens?
