Avatar visualization

I was wondering if there is any way to change the avatar currently displayed. Or at the very least have the ability to switch between male and female.

If not, is this at all on the horizon?

Hello Claudio,

Thank you for your feedback on the Motive visualization.

Currently, there is no way to change the avatar that is displayed in Motive. You can change the color by changing the segment color, but that is about the extent of the functionality.

It is not in our current plan to change the avatar display, as most detailed character visualization is done in other applications that are able to retarget to full character rigs in realtime. Such applications are important for good visualization, especially if their are differences, in proportion, between an actor and the avatar.

We are constantly considering the solving capabilities of our software and may find ways to improve this in the future. At that time, we can consider other visualization options. We will try to keep this in mind as we continue to develop Motive.
