Flex 13 cameras mounted upside down

Post by Justin Rorabaugh »

I am with Shocker Studios in Wichita, KS and we recently inherited a Mo Cap studio. We have purchased and installed Motive Body and have 18 Flex 13 cameras mounted on the existing rig. All of the cameras are mounted upside down. Is there a way to invert the space using the software or do I need to re-mount all the cameras?

Hello Justin Rorabaugh,

Thank you for reaching out to the community regarding your questions.

Mounting the cameras upside down is perfectly acceptable and should automatically be handled by the calibration process. After you perform a wand wave, you will need to use the Calibration Square to set the ground plane. This will update the camera orientations.

If you encounter any issues with your calibration process, please feel free to reach out to Support for assistance.
