Currently in the process of upgrading our MoCap setup, was wondering if there are any recommended hardware setups for the capture computer.
Specifically, is which GPU should we be looking at? Is a 1080 overkill? Does AMD seem to work better?

Re: Recommended Software Setup
Hi Gnarlywhale,
Motive is not graphics intensive, so the graphics card is not usually a prime factor on most machines. We do recommend at least some low level gaming card, usually NVIDIA, but the CPU is more important then GPU for Motive to run well.
Motive benefits from processing cores with high speeds. Multiple cores are useful, but we would favor speed over core count. An i5 or i7 processor is usually preferred, depending on the size of the capture system.
Cheers,
Steven
